Why was Momportunity.com Created?

When I was pregnant with our first child, my husband and I decided that we would never put our children in day care. Of course, this meant we also decided we would have to make it on just one salary.

I know the stress of stretching one income to cover five people. After research, trial, and error, I figured out ways to earn money from home. I have earned an income using just my computer and my personal skills. Now I earn as much as I would if I had a “traditional” job, and I don’t have to allocate any of my income to day care. While I work, my children are with me, and I can step away from “the office” when I want or need to.

I created momportunity.com for moms like me. I know there are millions out there who –like me– don’t want to put their kids in day care, but need to earn income. Within the multitude of pages, I’m sure you’ll find something that will enable you to work at home.

How to Use Momportunity.com

If you’re here, you need income.  I suggest you start with the online focus groups page.  This page is full of legit companies that will pay you to participate in online focus groups, take surveys, and test consumer products — all for pay.   I have personally tested each of the companies to ensure their legitimacy.

While you’re earning some income with product testing and online focus groups, you can look for a job on momportunity.com.   There are several ways you can do this.  First, decide what kind of job you want to have.  From the home page, choose the category that best fits with what you want to be while your kids grow up.  Alternately, you can choose a more precise subcategory, which are located on the right hand margin under the heading “Jobs by Category.”

You can also explore the “other options” page, which offers alternatives, such as returning to school and attending college online.

Also, check out the site’s archives, located in the right margin under the header “archives.”  The site is more than a year old now, and there are several job postings each month.

Be sure to check out the “Featured eBook,” which will change periodically.  This is located in the right hand margin, and will feature an ebook that I have personally checked out and recommend.   Most of the time, these ebooks will be about how to create a business of your own, from your home, with minimal investment.  Other times, it may be an ebook about helping you save money and tighten up your home budget.

Finally, check out the pages that offer a list of work- at-home employee jobs,  a list of suggestions for business you can start at home, and a list of turnkey businesses.
