Online Surveys and Focus Groups
The following sites pay people for participating in online focus groups and surveys.  Registration is free, and all of the companies are legitimate. Some of the surveys take just a few minutes, and pay about $3 each, but some focus groups take about an hour or so, and pay up to $300.
The advice I give everyone is: register for all of the companies. The more companies you are registered with, the more focus groups and surveys you can participate in. If you don’t have time now, bookmark this page and finish registering when you can.
Another benefit: Many of the companies will send full-sized products for you to use and test in your home (and they pay you for doing this).
Join the Synovate Panel: they are one of the largest marketing research firms in the world. All surveys are rewarded: you will either receive a check, points that are redeemable for checks, or a entries in their frequent sweepstakes (often it’s a combination of points/sweeps and check/sweeps).
New! Global Test Markets is one of the most respected survey companies on the internet, and they are currently seeking new members.
New! Surveys Spot consistently sends out several survey invitations per week, and your balance builds up quickly. You can request a check as long as your balance is at least $5.
Fusion-Cash pays you for taking short surveys and visiting sites (and pays you for referring your friends!)
MyPoints rewards members with points for reading emails & taking surveys. Points are redeemed for gift cards. Be sure to fill out your personal profile, to get the most survey invitations.
The My Survey Site rewards you in the form of points, which you then cash in for $. (They mail out checks when you request them.)
Snap Rewards rewards you with points for reading emails, taking short surveys, etc. Points can be cashed in for gift cards to many of your favorite stores (which will help out your family budget).
CashCrate pays you for taking surveys (they offer at least two per day) and visiting sites (amazingly, there are moms who make over $1,200 per month with this site!)
Opinion Outpost rewards you with points (10 pts = $1), and pays you with checks
American Consumer Opinion in addition to $, often send full-size products for you to test.
PermissionResearch rewards you with points, redeemable for gift cards, free software, etc.
